The coaching difference

You don't need more information. You need the right work, at the right time, for the right reason.

If this sounds familiar

You're working hard—but you're not sure the plan is right.

Maybe you've been collecting workouts from social media, old programs, team sessions, or whatever looks challenging that day. You're doing the work, but there is no clear progression—and no one helping you decide what matters most right now.

Maybe your athlete practices constantly, but the individual gaps in strength, speed, movement, confidence, or consistency still aren't being addressed. Or maybe you're an adult who wants to feel athletic again without beating up your body or wasting the limited time you have.

The problem usually isn't effort. It's trying to coach yourself while you're also the person doing the work.

What changes with CLP coaching

Your training becomes clear, personal, and accountable.

01

Know exactly what to do

Open each week knowing what to train, how much to do, and what the session is meant to improve.

02

Train for your actual goal

Your plan reflects your sport or performance goal, training age, schedule, available equipment, and current needs.

03

Adjust instead of starting over

When something hurts, equipment changes, practice gets heavier, or progress stalls, the plan can change without losing its purpose.

04

Have someone paying attention

Your completed work, feedback, readiness, habits, and progress give me the information to coach what happens next.

05

See proof that you are improving

Track performance across training blocks so progress is based on more than sweat, soreness, or guesswork.

06

Stay connected and consistent

Regular check-ins, direct communication, and clear expectations keep small problems from becoming lost weeks.

A note from Chris

I don't want to hand you a generic program and hope it fits.

I want to understand what you're working toward, what you've already tried, what your week really looks like, and where you're getting stuck.

Then we build around the person. The goal is not simply to make you tired. It is to make the training make sense, help you execute it well, and keep moving you forward.

Common questions

Before you apply.

Is this only for competitive athletes?

No. CLP Custom Coaching can support developing and competitive athletes as well as performance-minded adults. The plan and coaching expectations are matched to the person.

Do I need access to a full gym?

No. Your available equipment and training location are considered before the plan is built. The goal is to make the program work in your real environment.

What if sport practice or my schedule changes?

That is part of coaching. Training can be adjusted around changing practice loads, travel, recovery, equipment, and real-life demands without losing the bigger goal.

How personalized is the program?

Your assessment, goals, experience, schedule, equipment, feedback, and progress all shape the plan. You are not simply handed the same program as everyone else.

What happens after I apply?

You'll be invited to schedule an Online Coaching Strategy Call. A coach reviews your application and any attached Athlete Score, then meets with you over Zoom to discuss your goals, expectations, and whether coaching is a good fit.

Am I committing or paying by applying?

No. The application starts a conversation. Coaching details and pricing are discussed before you decide whether to move forward.
